Please note: Due to limited space at the visa application centre we will not be able to accommodate friends, relatives and associates of applicants into the visa application centre; unless they are small children, disabled or elderly. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

Public holiday closures

The VFS Visa application centre in Seoul will be closed on the following public holidays in 2012:

Security information:

All applicants and their belongings entering the visa application centre will be subject to a security search. Separate facilities will be made available for ladies.

For security reasons the following items will not be permitted inside the visa application centre or stored on the premises:

	All battery operated or electronic items such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3s, floppies, laptops, or portable music players.
	All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or cloth bags and zip folders. Only a plastic bag containing your application and related papers will be permitted.
	Sealed envelopes or packages.
	Any inflammable item such as matchboxes/ lighters/ fuel.
	Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail filers.
	Weapons or weapon - like objects or explosive material of any kind.

Data Protection Act

The Data Protection Act prevents the UK Border Agency and VFS from providing information about a visa application to anybody other than the individual visa applicant or their authorised representative.
